Statements Trump Might Have Said

Trump came out today, saying he doesn't like bronze and silver medal winners. 'I like gold medal winners only.'

He's going to end all trade with landlocked countries. 'I don't like countries without ports.’

He doesn't believe in submarines either, because they're underwater and he can't see them.

He doesn't like small countries with big names. Doesn't make sense, he says.

Trump said he doesn't like apples that fall from trees. They don't prove gravity exists.

Climate change is a hoax, he says. Proof, winter. 'When ice melts in my glass, the beverage doesn't overflow. Therefore, there will be no rise in seawater as the ice caps melt.'

What other statements might you believe Trump would have said?

Cocoon above! Cocoon below!

Cocoon above! Cocoon below!
Stealthy Cocoon, why hide you so
What all the world suspect?
An hour, and gay on every tree
Your secret, perched in ecstasy
Defies imprisonment!

An hour in Chrysalis to pass,
Then gay above receding grass
A Butterfly to go!
A moment to interrogate,
Then wiser than a "Surrogate,"
The Universe to know!

-The Poems of Emily Dickinson, 129
